The Bachelor of Education with Professional Honours (Geographical Education) is designed to meet the needs of teaching professionals seeking in depth professional learning in geographical education.

The course includes opportunities to study specialised units in this field, as well as options for independent study and practice projects and the development of research skills in educational enquiry.NOTE:

Course is not available to international students

Structure

The course consists of two core units, ESH714 Understanding Educational Inquiry and ESG748 Education Project 1, plus five specified coursework units.

All units are one semester in length and all units are weighted at 12.5% except for ESG748 (25%).

Entry requirements

The University requires applicants for admission to the Bachelor of Education with Professional Honours (Geographical Education) degree to hold a Bachelor of Education or a degree in other discipline with a Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Teaching, or Master of Teaching, or to those holding equivalent qualifications.
