It can be completed in a minimum of two semesters full-time or a maximum of two years part-time.

Students choose one of four streams, either Performance, Composition, Musicology or Orchestral and complete a total of 100% of units for the Graduate Diploma of Music comprising two compulsory core units (50%) and 4 electives (50%) according to the schedule for the selected stream.
