Professional Honours in Clinical Pharmacy is designed with the professional pharmacist in mind to provide a flexible way to develop your clinical knowledge and better prepare yourself for the challenging roles of the future.

Fully online, this course is flexible so that you can balance your work and personal commitments.Start with this Professional Honours course then take advantage of our pathway options to complete the Masters of Clinical Pharmacy (M7F).

Structure

The course adopts a structured approach based on Evidence Based Medicine principles, and requires students to complete eight units of study.

You will study six advanced pharmacotherapeutic coursework units, covering cardiology, respiratory medicine, infectious diseases, palliative care, geriatric medicine, endocrinology, neurology, psychiatric disorders, and gastroenterology.

You will then study two dedicated coursework units on research methodology. This will provide you with a sound understanding of practice-based research to enable students to design effective research projects and quality improvement initiatives in their own workplaces.

  • You should study CSA721 in your first semester of study.
  • Generally, students working full-time should not enrol into more than two units of study a semester.
