This course provides an opportunity for registered pharmacists, particularly those from rural and remote areas, to develop clinical pharmacy skills and qualifications in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice research by offering a flexible education program delivered online.Further information can be obtained from the School of Pharmacy website.Domestic Students interested in this course should apply for the Bachelor of Pharmacy with Professional Honours (Clinical Pharmacy) M4Q
Structure
The course offers six clinical core units, where students will able to develop advanced Evidence-Based Management skills to improve the pharmaceutical care of patients with complex healthcare needs. Six core units will broadly cover the areas of:
Infectious Diseases; Cardiovascular disorders; Neurological and Psychiatric Disorders; Adverse Drug Reactions and Gastrointestinal Disorders; Endocrinology and Supportive care for Oncology Patients; Respiratory Disorders and Renal Diseases.
All six clinical coursework units from the Master of Clinical Pharmacy (CSA721-6) must be undertaken before a student can opt to exit as Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy. Students can enrol and commence study in semester 1 or 2.
