Bachelor of Science with Honours

Due to the circumstances around COVID-19, you will begin your studies online.

However, when Government guidelines change, on-campus studies will be reintroduced.This 1 year full-time, 2 year part-time (maximum) course is available at Hobart and, subject to available supervision, at Launceston.

Each candidate will conduct research and write a thesis. In addition, candidates MAY BE required to study and pass one or more advanced level units and undertake other activities which may include the preparation of literature reviews, essays and grant applications and the presentation of seminars.

For Full Time Students:

Please enrol in Honours A (25%) and B (25%) in one semester and Honours C (25%) and D (25%) in the following semester.

For Part Time Students:

Please enrol in Honours A (25%) in one semester, followed by Honours B (25%) in the following semester and so on.

• Students enrol sequentially i.e. Unit A, then Unit B irrespective of the semester in which they start.
• Disciplines with a different enrolment pattern (e.g. Computer Science, Geography & Environmental Studies, Psychology) will also list applicable coursework units.
