The course is accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and is regarded as a qualifying master's degree course.Note:

The dissertation stream will not be available for new students commencing in 2020.

4. To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—

(a) a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA.

and

(b) the equivalent of a UWA grade point average of at least 5.0.
