Contact Future Students for more information.The Graduate Diploma in Heritage Studies is intended for those who want to complete the classroom-based coursework section of the Master of Heritage Studies.
It aims to meet the training needs of all those whose lives intersect with heritage be this in context of government, the business sector, NGOs, museums, national or provincial parks.
Students study both tangible and intangible heritage including natural, cultural and Indigenous heritage with a choice to specialise in either Indigenous Australian or international heritage.
Students learn to understand heritage issues and to work with industries and governments to record, manage, protect and present heritage objects, places and traditions in partnership with communities.

Entry requirements
4.(1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—
(a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;
and
(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent;
and
(c) succesfully completed prior study in a field relevant to Heritage Studies; or
(2) completed a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Heritage Studies at UWA.
