This course provides a broad introduction to the health sciences with opportunities to specialise in one or two of the following areas:
health promotion, health services management, therapeutic recreation or public health.
Students who choose to enrol into two specialisations will identify one area as their Key Program and the second as their Major.
The Key Program is considered the primary specialisation.
The double specialisation is designed to increase students’ areas of expertise and employability.
Public Health is the only fully online key program and students who choose the Public Health key program and a major in one of the other three specialisations will be required to attend on-campus classes for the second area of study.
Qualification for this award requires the successful completion of 260 credit points which include the units listed in the recommended sequence below.
