The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at Murdoch has been carefully developed with industry to provide you with the skills you will need in your future career. As part of this, you’ll learn from industry experts and gain 450 hours of professional work experience. When you graduate, you can become a graduate member of Engineers Australia. You can become a Full Chartered Professional Engineer after a further three to five years of Engineering work experience.In this rapidly changing world, it is important to have a diverse skill set across several disciplines. At Murdoch, you have the option of studying two majors at once to expand your expertise and broaden your career opportunities. This is known as a double major and provides you with two strong qualifications, which can be completed within 4 years full-time study (or equivalent part time).A final Honours year is embedded in this degree, allowing you to apply everything you learn in your first three years of study on an individual research or industry-based project in an area of interest for you.
