This course seeks to develop Building Information Modelling(BIM) skills with an explicit focus on practical application and problem-solving in the context of the BIM environment. Students will undertake units which focus on the philosophies, principles, techniques and possibilities of collaborative processes vital to the success of the design process within the context of BIM across multiple disciplines.There are two main components to the course which simulate, real-time building phases that occur in the construction industries within a collaborative process.

It offers a comprehensive overview of the theoretical and practical aspects of urban design. Students gain some experience as individual designers and as participants in interdisciplinary groups assigned to working on the complex nature of urban issues. It also offers preliminary experience in conducting independent research.

The principles and processes examined in the course have universal application and are essential to practice in this field; the main places selected for detailed study and site exercises will be based on Western Australian experience.

It is provided primarily for those people who have fulfilled the requirements of a law degree and been admitted to practice, usually in another country, and have been advised by the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia to undertake extra units of study in order to be admitted to practice in this State.

Contact Future Students for more information.This course aims to provide students with an understanding of socio-legal theory, policy development and the skills required to work in or with governments. The course combines theory with more practically oriented units. Study for both degrees begins with foundational courses in law, policy and socio-legal theory. Students can then tailor their study through elective units to focus on policy areas of interest such as crime and justice, medicine and law, international law or governance. Students can also elect to undertake a research option which would provide a pathway to doctoral studies, or to higher level research roles in employment.
