This combined degree provides students with the generic skills and understanding of humanities and social sciences in conjunction with legal education for the practice of law. The Arts course provides graduates with the ability to understand and study human society. A law degree opens up career options in in-house counsel of private and public institutions, teaching, industrial relations, military, police services, politics, human rights, customs, immigration or any public or private sector employment where an in-depth understanding of the law would be an advantage. Graduates of this combined degree are awarded both the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws.
