The Specialist Certificate in Creativity and Health is designed to equip students to understand and use performance to improve the health and well‐being for children and young people who are engaged with a range of health services. It will provide foundational knowledge on theories of performance, child and adolescent development and how to work within both interdisciplinary settings. Specialist Certificate in Cancer Sciences

The Specialist Certificate in Cancer Sciences gives students an introduction to cancer science, research and care. It utilises a contemporary, evidence-based program for clinicians and scientists to improve the outcomes and experiences of cancer patients.The Specialist Certificate is a 25-point program that can be completed either over 3 months full-time, or 6 months, part-time. Students will be required to undertake one core subject covering the Foundations of Cancer. They will then choose an additional subject from the elective suite, which covers a wide range of topics relevant to the oncological workforce.The Cancer Sciences suite has been developed and presented by leading clinicians and researchers from the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC). Designed to broaden the skills of medical practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, allied health practitioners and scientists; this program will hone transferrable knowledge and skills to improve clinical research, education and care.

Specialist Certificate in Cancer Nursing

The Specialist Certificate in Cancer Nursing is delivered by cancer nursing clinical experts and educators. This course provides students with the beginning scientific and theoretical knowledge related to cancer control and patient-family centered care.As a student of this course you will complete two wholly online core subjects: Applied Pathophysiology and the Foundations of Cancer Nursing. The philosophy of the SCCL is to provide a contemporary, evidence-based program to health professionals to improve outcomes for their organisations, colleagues and patients. The Specialist Certificate in Ageing (SC-AGEING) is a nested award within the Master of Ageing course. The SC-AGEING is available to students wishing to take 25 credit points within the Master of Ageing coursework.The SC-AGEING requires completion of two subjects (25 points) and is structured to suit individual needs and study preferences.The SC-AGEING will not offer the opportunity to pursue the capstone subjects offered in the full 150 points Master of Ageing course. There is no advanced standing offered in the SC-AGEING. Hence, all students must complete 25 points of study to be awarded the SC-AGEING.
