The Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) is an 18-unit program of study designed to be completed in one semester of full-time study, or the equivalent part-time study. The course is offered by the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.

The Graduate Certificate in Screen and Media Production is offered by the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences over one semester of full time study, or part-time equivalent. The course articulates with the Graduate Diploma in Screen and Media Productionand the Master of Screen and Media Production.

The Graduate Certificate in Society and the Individual requires one semester full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The course is offered by the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work.The course can be used as a pathway to the Master of Social Work (Graduate Entry) to equip students without sufficient prior studies in the social sciences with the necessary skills and knowledge. It also offers an employment pathway in the aged and disability sectors for students not continuing with the Masters level qualification.

The Graduate Certificate in Science (Water Resources Management) is an 18-unit program offered by the College of Science and Engineering.The course articulates with the 36-unit Graduate Diploma in Science (Water Resources Management) and the 72-unit Master of Science (Water Resources Management), and the sequentially developed topics allow progression through the three awards. Students who have completed the Graduate Certificate are awarded credit towards the Graduate Diploma.

The Graduate Certificate in Science (Aquaculture) is an 18-unit program comprising only coursework offered by the College of Science and Engineering. The Graduate Certificate is built within the 36-unit Graduate Diploma in Science (Aquaculture) and the 72-unit Master of Science (Aquaculture) and the sequentially developed topics allow progression through the two or three awards.

The Graduate Certificate in Research Methods is an 18-unit program.The course provides students with high-level knowledge and skills in research methods.Students may choose to exit from the Graduate Diploma in Research Methods with the exit award of the Graduate Certificate in Research Methods, provided that they have met the requirements for that award.

The Graduate Certificate in Remote Health Practice is an 18-unit program which is offered by the College of Medicine and Public Health. The program is only available on a part-time basis.The course articulates with the Graduate Diploma in Remote Health Practice and the Master of Remote and Indigenous Health and the sequentially developed topics allow progression through the three awards.Students in the programs undertake two core topics and are then able to select a specialty stream in either Ageing and Disability, Allied Health, Management, Medical or Nursing.The program was developed in collaboration with the Council of Remote Area Nurses and is offered on an external basis through the Centre for Remote Health in Alice Springs.

The Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management is an 18-unit program which is part of the Graduate Program in Public Administration offered by the College of Business, Government and Law.The course is available on campus, by online study or in mixed mode, and students may move between mode of study on a topic by topic basis.It articulates with the 36-unit Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and two 72-unit masters programs - the Master of Public Sector Management and Master of Public Policy.Sequentially developed topics allow progression through the three levels.Students who complete the graduate certificate normally receive credit for up to 18 units of topics should they wish to proceed with the graduate diploma or masters.

The Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care in Developing Countries is an 18-unit program offered by the College of Medicine and Public Health. The program can be undertaken part-time commencing in the semester one intake.
