The Bachelor of Education (Primary R-7), Bachelor of Special Education degree program is an initial teacher education program that prepares students from diverse backgrounds to combine in-depth study of the general primary curriculum with their studies in Special Education. The new course aims to support students to become effective inclusive teachers of students in the primary years (R-7) including those with disabilities, learning or behavioural difficulties. The Bachelor of Education (Primary R-7), Bachelor of Special Education may be taken as a degree program in four years full-time (or the equivalent part-time). This course aims to support students to become effective educators of young children (birth to eight) including those with disabilities, learning or behavioural difficulties. The Bachelor of Design and Technology Innovation requires three years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time).Students enrolled in, or having completed, a bachelor’s degree in the fields of Science, Engineering or Business from Flinders University or an approved equivalent qualification from another institution may receive credit depending on their studies completed.

No further student intakeThe Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education (Rehabilitation Counselling) requires four years of full-time study or the equivalent part-time. The Honours program cannot be undertaken with this specialisation. The course is offered by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.Students interested in pursuing areas of interest other than Rehabilitation Counselling should refer to Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education

The Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education requires four years of full-time study or the equivalent part-time. The Honours program may be completed in the fourth year as an alternative to the coursework program.
