Master of E-Health (Health Informatics)

The Master of E-Health is offered by the School of Nursing - externally, using online teaching and learning technologies, over a minimum completion time of 3 years part time (over two semesters), and a maximum 7 years part time. There is the option for participants to exit at the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma level of the program.

Master of Clinical Midwifery
University of Tasmania
This course is not offered in 2017.The Master of Clinical Midwifery is a three-year (i.e. six semester) part-time course offered statewide and interstate of which the first two years comprise the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery. Applicants entering at the third level of the program i.e. directly into the two Master's level units must have completed a Graduate Diploma or equivalent.

Master of Education (Global Education)

From 2018, all new students will undertake their studies with a specialisation in Global Education, through the Master of Education (Specialisation) course.The Master of Education (Global Education) is a one and a half year course intended to enable educators to gain specialist knowledge and skills, including effective research and evidence-gathering skills, and to extend and update their knowledge and to lay a foundation for further professional development in both theory and practice in Global Education. The course will be offered full time or part time by distance on-line, Launceston with some units offered face-to-face.For domestic students, an alternative pathway to a Master of Education (Global Education) is available on a Commonwealth Supported (CSP) basis for the first eight units through the Bachelor of Education with Professional Honours (Global Education) course.Students who enrol in and complete four TESOL coursework units in the Bachelor of Education with Professional Honours (Global Education) will be able to exit with the Graduate Certificate in Education (Global Education).

From 2018, all new students will undertake their studies with a specialisation in TESOL, through the Master of Education (Specialisation) course.The MEd TESOL course has been designed to provide a comprehensive and contemporary examination of the most salient matters concerning English language learning and teaching. Course provision offers flexibility as a primary tenet, allowing participants to move between delivery modes to meet specific requirements. The MEd TESOL course is provided fully online, or on-campus in Launceston. Further flexibility is achieved through the design of assignments to meet the needs and requirements of individuals. Professional and academic scholarship is a high priority, and participants are encouraged to engage in a scholarly approach within a community of learners.For international students, the Master of Education (TESOL) specialisation is not available in a on-campus mode in 2017.
