Many of these credentials are also required to fulfill the requirements of the equivalent European or American Diplomat/Specialist bodies.On successful completion the candidate will graduate with two degrees: a Master of Veterinary Studies (Clinical Residency Program) (a coursework degree) and a Master of Veterinary Clinical Studies (a research degree).For postgraduate research in veterinary science, there is no better place to train than the University of Sydney. The new courses will aim to offer greater research flexibility and interdisciplinary learning across all faculty areas of study. Research conducted at the Sydney Pharmacy School covers a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical and clinical sciences around five key themes: cancer; cardiovascular and diabetes; health services and patient safety; mental health; and respiratory diseases. The MPhil is a research degree in which students undertake supervised research leading to the production of a thesis.The faculty may admit an applicant that has obtained at least a credit in the highest course available in the subject or subjects relevant to the proposed course of advanced study and research. Full-time MPhil students have a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 2 years to submit a thesis for examination. Part-time students have a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years to submit.

The Faculty of Engineering focuses on multidisciplinary research centered on various key themes: field robotics; agricultural engineering; biomedical engineering and technologies; human-centered technology; complex systems; materials and structures; food processing; clean, intelligent energy networks; and water and the environment.In the Master of Philosophy program you will engage in research either full-time for not less than one year or part-time for not less than two years. If at the annual review your performance is deemed outstanding, you may be recommended for an upgrade to a PhD.
