You’ll graduate ready to work either as an accountant in the finance industry, or as a financial analyst, providing investment advice based on reviewing the financial statements of potential investees.The Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) sees academics and industry working together to develop a range of diverse Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities for students, including internships, work placements, industry projects, competitions, exhibitions, study tours, virtual real-world learning experiences and more.Through the WIL experiences across the course, you’ll acquire the necessary professional skills consistent with industry expectations for your future career in the worlds of accounting, finance and commerce. Previous accounting and finance students have undertaken internships and cadetships with organisations including International IDEA, Legal Aid ACT, eChoice, Boyce Chartered Accountants, the US Embassy, Maxim Chartered Accountants, National Australia Bank and Chartered Accountants ANZ (CAANZ).The course culminates in a capstone project, which aims to integrate what you’ve learned across your degree and prepare you for the transition to either successful future employment or further studies.Students should note the assumed knowledge requirements for individual majors and minors when choosing a program of study.This course is accredited by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).High-achieving students can enrol in the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) program.

The Bachelor of Business Administration is designed to prepare students for roles in small and medium sized business enterprises in today's highly competitive, global business environment, where a broad skillset is required. It is designed for students who no longer wish to complete a specialisation of eight units within a single discipline. Entry into this qualification is only available to students transferring from other programs, offered either by the University of Canberra or approved articulation partners. Students will need to have received at least 24 credit points of credit prior to admission.

The course covers aspects of sport from grass roots community levels through to studying high performance sport management at Olympic level. The degree takes students through the journey of sport from an amateur past time to the evolution of the globalised, commercialised, and professionalised industry that it is today.
