The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is a unique transdisciplinary program of study in business analytics. With subjects drawn from the UTS Business School and the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, students are provided a course structure that fits their background and experience. The course is delivered in blended mode, combining contemporary online and face-to-face learning experiences in UTS's leading-edge facilities. This course is designed to articulate into the Master of Business Analytics. In addition to the on-campus graduate certificate, UTS offers an online Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics.This course has been developed in consultation with industry in response to major global shortages of people with analytics skills, including a predicted shortfall of over 180,000 people with deep analytical skills and five times that number of data management and interpretation skills.

Students enrolled in the Master of Genetic Counselling (C04374) can apply to transfer into this exit-only course after completing 24 credit points of specified study and gain a graduate certificate qualification.

It is available to any student who has already completed an undergraduate degree.On completion of the Graduate Certificate in Landscape Architecture, students are eligible to articulate to the Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture with 24 credit points of credit recognition and then successfully articulate into the first year of the Master of Landscape architecture.

The study predicted a shortfall by 2018 of nearly 200,000 data scientists and 1.5 million managers with the capability to make decisions using big data in the United States alone.The dramatic growth of data in every conceivable industry, from oceanography to market research, presents another major driving force in generating unprecedented global demand for data science skills.

Interaction design is concerned with designing interactive digital products, digital environments, systems, and services that can satisfactorily meet the needs and desires of the intended users.
