Diploma of Digital Technology

The Diploma of Digital Technologies requires the completion of 36 units of study and is offered by the College of Science and Engineering. The Diploma requires one year of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time).Students who have completed the Diploma of Digital Technologies normally receive credit for a maximum of 22.5 units of topics if admitted to the Bachelor of Information Technology, a maximum of 13.5 units of topics if admitted to the Bachelor of Information Technology (Network and Cybersecurity Systems) and a maximum of 36 units of topics if admitted to the Bachelor of Design and Technology Innovation.

The Diploma of Arts requires one year of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time).The Diploma of Arts is administered by the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.The Diploma of Arts is offered only as an exit award for students currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, conditional entry to Master of Teaching (Primary R-7) and Bachelor of Arts – conditional entry to Master of Teaching (Secondary) who choose not to complete.

The Honours degree of the Bachelor of Social Work can be completed by taking an alternative Fourth Year Program. Enrolment in the honours program may be offered to a student who meets certain academic criteria and subject to the College being able to provide appropriate resources and staff to supervise the program of study.The course is offered by the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work.

Speech Pathology

The Bachelor of Speech Pathology requires four years of full-time study and is not offered on a part-time basis. An honours degree can be completed in four years by undertaking additional units, including a research project at honours level, in Year 4.Graduates are eligible for membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.Students who commence, but subsequently do not wish to complete, may be eligible to transfer into the three year Bachelor of Speech, Language and Hearing Science after completing the 72 units of topics required to complete the first two years of the Bachelor of Speech Pathology.The course is offered by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
