Our Certificate IV in Education Support will prepare you for an industry that the Australian Governments predicts will have an additional 50,000 jobs within the next five years. You will learn how to work collaboratively with teachers to support students with special needs including disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, culturally diverse students and students at risk. You will also study child development and being skilled in supporting students’ literacy and numeracy learning. Better still, you will undertake a 100 hour practical placement within a school, working with teachers in the classroom environment to build on the skills and knowledge learnt in class. So whether you aspire to work in public or private settings, in schools or community organisations, our Certificate will provide you with the tools needed to support both students and teachers in a variety of settings. You might even use this course as a launch pad into a Bachelor of Education.

The Endeavour program is for people who want to return to further study, improve employment prospects and engage in lifelong learning. You may be a school leaver or young adult who needs some transition education before you pursue further education. You may be mature aged and have been at home with a family, or have not been engaged in formal education for a long time.The program gives you the opportunity to re-engage with learning and build on your confidence in a friendly, supportive setting, while developing your skills as a lifelong learner. We will help you to become an independent learner in maths, oral and written communication.The completion of 22473VIC Certificate II level is the equivalent of Year 10, as well as meeting the minimum educational requirement for entry to the Australian Defence Force. There is a science stream that allows you to build your capacity for science education.

With a combination of core and elective subjects, you can tailor our Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology to suit your specific interests around working with light, heavy and commercial vehicles.You will learn how to service, diagnose and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems, while also choosing from subjects like soldering electrical wiring and circuits, installing ancillary electrical systems and inspecting and servicing engines.Whatever focus you choose, you will finish your highly practical studies as a specialist, equipped to apply for a National Air Conditioning Licence and ready to advance your career working as a fully qualified automotive air conditioning technician.

You will learn how to make sure that impression is a good one.This is a two year apprenticeship program where you will learn everything from how to operate a bar to receiving and storing stock. This course will make you job-ready, as well as give you the starting point to build your career in the beauty industry.If you have a creative nature and love working with people, this program will teach you a wide range of beauty treatments including how to design and apply make-up, spray tanning and perform waxing and tinting treatments. This entry level program will let you explore the world of hairdressing and to get a feel for the industry. Among other things, you will learn the basics of applying colouring products, drying hair to shape and tools of the trade, as well as starting to develop your customer service skills. At the end of this course, you will be ready to apply for hairdressing apprentice positions, or be prepared to step straight into the workforce as a salon assistant. This pre-apprenticeship program will give you the hands on skills and basic mechanical knowledge which will help you to find an automotive apprenticeship. It will help to make you job ready, and will give you the opportunity to pursue a career in automotive mechanics, engine reconditioning, automotive electrician and electronics, and vehicle body repair.

Skill yourself up for a career managing people and projects in the horticulture industry. Perhaps you have just bought a horticulture business or are becoming a manager in a horticulture enterprise, or perhaps you have completed a horticulture trade qualification, and are looking to step up your responsibilities in the workplace. You'll learn how to supervise work routines and staff performance along with managing construction work.This program can be taken as part of a traineeship in your workplace or if you’re not a trainee, you can study in our specialised Rural Sciences Skills Centre on campus.

This skills-based certificate will be taken as part of an apprenticeship in your workplace. You'll learn about a broad range of horticulture topics including controlling weeds, plant nutrition and propogation, and will graduate as an employee attractive to local councils, private contractors and more.
