Master of Construction Practice

The Master of Construction Practice covers a comprehensive range of subjects in the field of construction practice, focusing on the management and delivery of complex construction projects. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including building structures and soil mechanics, construction technology, construction techniques, plant and equipment, contract administration, building measurement, finance and cost planning, project management, refurbishment and retrofitting and risks. The program is accredited by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The program also meets the educational requirements of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for attainment of an Open Builders License.

Master of Building Surveying

The September semester for this program will be delivered in a multi-modal format, with classes designed to support and engage all learners. Whether they're on campus or abroad, all students will be able to access Bond's exceptional and personalised learning experience through dynamic and interactive lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops and lab sessions.Building surveyors are in high demand both locally and nationally! The industry continues to grow as the need for infrastructure and construction heightens. The Master of Building Surveying equips graduates with the advanced knowledge of building legislation, technical codes, and construction standards, providing them the opportunity to work in the government or private sector.Intensive Mode Delivery is a compact and time efficient way to complete a postgraduate qualification with minimal impact on professional and personal lifestyles. Each subject is delivered over two weekends during the semester. There are two sets of three-day sessions per subject, scheduled Thursday to Saturday (approximately six to eight contact hours per day) with a break of four or five weeks between session one and session two of each subject.

The Bond MBA (Professional) provides students with a solid foundation in a variety of business practices, plus the ability to gain aspecialisation. The professional program follows the same structure as the Master of Business Administration program with an additional 20-week Professional component. The program focuses on developing self-analysis and reflective learning skills and applying theoretical solutions for practical workplace problems. The program also provides global networking opportunities. The program equips students to think critically, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterised by change and uncertainty. The classes combine theoretical knowledge in Business with practical insights delivered through case studies, guest lectures and work-integrated learning. Team building is encouraged through group projects and communication skills are enhanced through class presentations.

English for Academic Purposes

Whether they’re on campus or abroad, all students will be able to access Bond’s exceptional and personalised learning experience through dynamic and interactive lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops and lab sessions.English for Academic Purposes (EAP) is designed to improve your academic English and study skills so you can enrol in a Bond University program. The EAP program is a full-time program encompassing three levels with each level taking one semester (14 weeks) to complete. Bond University College runs three semesters per year so it is possible to complete all three levels within 12 months and transition seamlessly to degree-level studies at Bond University.

Master of Business Administration (Specialisation)

You can add a specialisation to the MBA program by undertaking an additional semester of study. You will graduate with an MBA (Specialisation) Finance or Marketing or International Business or Big Data orTourism and Hotel Management Specialisation. A specialisation enables you to combine a generalist MBA program with a focused discipline-based area of study. A specialisation is useful if you are planning to use the MBA for a career change or if you just want more knowledge in that area.

Students can enter at any level of English, starting with communicative and functional General English and progressing to academic English Programs. The General English programs are 10 weeks long while the Academic Program (English for Academic Purposes) are 14 weeks long. Both the General English program and Academic English Programs include 20 hours of face to face classroom time and 5 hours of self-directed study and the General English Program also includes 5 hours of self-directed study.All programs at Bond University College are taught by highly experienced and qualified teachers using the latest technologies and educational resources and are designed to ensure students reach their academic and linguistic goals.

Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the global tourism and hotel industries. You will develop the knowledge and skills required by managers in modern hospitality and tourism businesses with special emphasis on; hotel, tourism and event operations, sustainable tourism, tourism industry analysis, revenue management and human resource management. Emphasis is placed on practical and experiential learning through field trips, industry experience, internships, and real-life case studies. Students will undertake an Industry Experience Placement or an Employment Activity as part of the Beyond Bond program.

The Master of Accounting (Professional) program is a specialist program for students interested in pursuing a professional accounting qualification. It incorporates the traditional Master of Accounting program designed to provide an opportunity for students with undergraduate training in other fields to gain a professional accounting qualification. The professional program follows the same structure as the Master of Accounting program with an additional 20-week Professional component. The MAcc (Prof) offers a firm academic grounding in the accounting discipline and offers a hands-on appreciation of the industry. The program is a powerful amalgam of foundational accounting skills, decision-making, leadership and financial literacy with the ability to advise business on financial issues

Students must possess a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor qualification.
