The Undergraduate Certificate (Remote Educators) offers you the opportunity to retrain and reskill in education studies relevant to remote educators.

This 6-month course will give you a direct pathway into higher education courses across the education discipline.

During this course you will learn about arts for education, preparation for teaching in early childhood education, teaching Indigenous learners, and cultural intelligence and capability.

You will be supported in your studies as this introductory course is designed to support and develop the necessary skills to be successful in your studies.

Completion of the Undergraduate Certificate (Remote Educators) will provide a direct pathway to the Diploma of Educational Studies, Bachelor of Education Early Childhood Teaching, Bachelor of Education Primary, and Bachelor of Education Secondary.

As this qualification has been designed to allow you to explore opportunities in education, you may also use it as a pathway for entry into a variety of higher education courses.

Advanced standing will be granted in a relevant undergraduate degree for some or all of the subjects successfully completed.

You should check the requirements of your preferred undergraduate degree to ensure credit transfer is maximised.

Higher Education Relief Package Charles Darwin University is offering this Undergraduate Certificate as part of the suite of university short courses subsidised by Commonwealth Government.

The discounted fees only apply to enrolments in 2020.

To be eligible you must study full time and complete all 4 units by December 2020.

Future enrolments (2021) will be charged at the standard rate, without a discount.

Entry requirements

Prospective students must be 17 years (or over) and meet one of the following: Year 12 (no ATAR minimum); or Completed studies at Certificate IV or above; or Completed eligible enabling program; or Two years of combined post-school work and study experience, supported by a personal competency statement.
