You can study this undergraduate nursing degree full-time or part-time;

and on-campus, online or a mix of both.

please see full details under entry requirements below.) In 2021 we plan to introduce a new course structure, which the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council is currently reviewing.

Entry requirements

Completion of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) where the minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 65 or equivalent is achieved OR A completed Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) with an equivalent ranking to the currently listed ATAR OR A completed AQF Certificate III studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent. OR Partial completion of an AQF Diploma, of at least 50%, studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent. A completed AQF Diploma studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University - or equivalent. OR A completed Tertiary Preparation Certificate from an Australian university (or equivalent), demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Overall Grade Average or Score achieved. OR Successful completion of a minimum of two university level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the overall Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.A completed Certificate IV in Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Advanced Certificate in Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Advanced Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse. OR A completed Hospital Certificate in Nursing (or equivalent) and AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse AND Must have achieved the minimum English requirements as specified in the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s English language skills registration standards.

English Language Proficency

Students from an english speaking background must have attended and satisfactorily completed at least six years of primary and secondary education taught and assessed solely in English in a recognised country (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States of America) including at least two years between years 7 and 12. OR Students not from an english speaking background must provide IELTS results (academic module) with a minimum overall score of 7 and a minimum score of 7 in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing and speaking), or equivalent test. OR Student is an enrolled nurse with current registration with the NMBA - English language requirements will have been demonstrated for enrolled nurse registration at the NMBA
