UWA's admission requirements for some postgraduate courses have changed for Semester 2, 2020 to facilitate student access to study during the COVID-19 situation.

Contact Future Students for more information.The Graduate Certificate in Public Policy is designed to give graduate students a multidisciplinary understanding of the role of the government in economic activity, public policy decision making and law.

It focuses on how the government interacts with the economy and society, through for example, economic growth, stability, taxation, infrastructure provision, regulation, sociolegal issues, health, defence, education and social security.

4.(1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—

(a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and either:

(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent;

or

(c) at least two years professional experience in a relevant occupation; or

(2) significant work experience including at least 5 years with a material level of responsibility.
