The Diploma of Alcohol & Other Drugs program provides the skills and knowledge required by workers who work under broad supervision and guidance to provide services to clients with alcohol and other drugs issues. These services can include counselling, referral and promotion services. The program equips you with high level specialist knowledge, skills and competencies, especially in regard to laws affecting clients, the range of services available to them and health issues related to alcohol and drugs use and misuse.Graduates of the program may be employed in a range of non-government, not-for profit or local government organisations, or the Department of Health and Human Services. They may work in a variety of services including day programs, residential rehabilitation services, specialist AOD services or detoxification services in case management and often supervisory roles.

Diploma of Community Services (Case Management)

The Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) equips students with the vocational skills and knowledge required by workers responsible for managing, coordinating and delivering person-centred services to individuals, groups or the community in general. At this level, workers have specialised skills in community services and work autonomously under broad direction from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct support to individuals or groups of individuals.Work may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or supporting the implementation of specific community-based programs. You will develop the skills and knowledge to become a fashion stylist. The program is designed to train you to become multi-skilled in a wide range of fashion and fashion styling related areas that will enable you to work in a variety of different types of jobs in the fashion and styling industry in Australia and overseas.During the program you will also be encouraged to participate in industry styling events and fashion styling opportunities. You will engage with industry experts in fashion styling, design, retailers and fashion magazine editors within class or through excursion activities such as at trade and fashion shows,You will participate in practical workshops in the development of fashion editorial and fashion catalogues, create blog sites and other social media sites, work on fashion styling shoots for film or TV, work in the photographic studio creating fashion images for fashion brands and undertake a number of fashion events including a fashion parade within a fashion industry context.The Diploma of Fashion Styling is both an entry level qualification in fashion styling and related skills as well as a qualification providing the skills for employment in a wide range of jobs in the fashion and fashion styling industry.Graduates who successfully complete the Diploma of Fashion Styling could work in fields including: fashion and branding, film and television, social media, publishing and advertising.
