You will also be expected to demonstrate competency on the practical component of the program and complete the HLTDEN001 Clinical Logbook.

The Certificate III in Carpentry is an industry based apprenticeship program and the primary qualification for becoming a qualified Carpenter.The purpose of this program is to support you with training and assessment in order for you to successfully complete your apprenticeship. Once you have completed all the requirements of the Certificate III in Carpentry, you should be able to work in the building and contruction industry as a Carpenter.

As an employed apprentice, this qualification allows you to specialise in a number of plumbing streams.There are 2 options offered by R.M.I.T:1. In the general plumber program, you specialise in 5 streams: gasfitting, water, sanitary, roofing and drainage.2. If you or your employer chooses the mechanical plumber program, you specialise in 6 streams: gasfitting, water, sanitary, roofing, drainage and mechanical.By successfully completing the Certificate lll in Plumbing, you are eligible to apply for registration with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA).(Note: To obtain a 'restricted split systems air conditioning refrigerant handling licence', you need to enrol in the MEM20105 Certificate ll in Engineering at R.M.I.T, and demonstrate competency in this qualification before you can apply for this licence through ARC).

The Certificate II in Electrotechnology Studies (Pre-Vocational) is a pre-apprenticeship program structured to assist you to gain an edge when competing for employment as an apprentice or trainee in the electrical, refrigeration, instrumentation and electronics fields.The program is a mix of theory and practical application of basic skills and knowledge required in the electrotechnology industry.
