Project management is a distinct professional discipline, having its own body of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques. It involves managing a project from inception to completion and the successful attainment of the project objectives. Students will learn the processes and techniques associated with project management, including: cost, time, quality, risk, communication, human resources and procurement management. Companies are increasingly utilizing projects as the means for achieving their strategic vision and dealing with change. This has put a premium on project management knowledge and skills across all industries. This stream/specialisation takes a broad-based approach to project management, which makes the stream/specialisation suitable to students from all industries. Project Management is a distinct professional discipline, having its own body of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques. It involves managing a project from inception to completion and the successful attainment of the project objectives. This course provides the opportunity to gain the understanding, knowledge and skills necessary for performing the role of project manager. It adopts a generic approach to project management and is applicable to any project in industries such as construction, engineering, education, health, commerce, information technology and research and development. Students have the option to select either the Research Stream or the Professional Stream for their final semester.
STRP-PREDA v.1 Predictive Data Analytics Stream (MIntlBus)

This stream is designed to prepare students for entry to the multi-disciplinary Predictive Data Analytics profession, in which many operations are automated and controlled remotely. Predictive Analytics is the study of data in order to predict and subsequently optimise management decisions. It has been developed in close collaboration with business and the resources industry to ensure the syllabus is comprehensive and will meet legal registration requirements. It provides a broad-based study of general data analytics including computing and business organisation, and then follows with three defined streams associated with the resources engineering industry, the business side of resources engineering productivity methodologies and the financial and investment industry. Course Overview Note Students enrolled in this stream are required to attend classes at Bentley campus.
STRP-PHRES v.1 Public Health Research Stream (M PubHlth)

STRP-MIBEL v.1 Elective Stream (MIntlBus)

The stream allows them to choose four postgraduate units from any available units within the University.
