It also combines a general qualification with more specific educational opportunities, enabling students learn in a way that best suits existing needs and priorities. It also offers advanced, individualised learning opportunities providing a pathway to the Master of Environment and Climate Emergency. GD-DIABET v.3 Graduate Diploma in Diabetes

Graduate Diplomas prepare students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled work and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications. The Graduate Diploma in Diabetes provides the student with foundation knowledge and skills in diabetes self-management, an understanding of chronic disease and its impact at a personal level as well as a national and global level. In addition graduates will have the capacity to prepare for projects and research in the diabetes field. Course Accreditation This course is accredited by the Australian Diabetes Educator Association (ADEA) for 2009-2015. Professional Recognition Graduates who are health professionals, (Registered Nurse (RN or Divison One), Registered Midwife. Accredited Practising Dietitian, Registered Medical Practioner, Registered Pharmacist, Podiatrist, Accredited Exercise Physiologist or a Registered Pysiotherapist) are eligible to use this award towards an application for credentialing with ADEA. GC-WOCP v.1 Graduate Certificate in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Practice

The Graduate Certificate in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Practice will focus on the prevention and management of patients with an acute or chronic wounds; patients with an ostomy (gastro-intestinal or genito-urinary diversion for feeding or drainage of effluent, or a tracheostomy for respiratory function), and patients with urinary or faecal incontinence.
