Our graduate program is offered in three stages. Successful completion of this graduate certificate gains you admission to the Graduate Diploma of Education, which leads into the Master of Education. This course does not provide registration to teach in Australia.

Graduate Diploma in Education

This course is designed to meet the needs of trainers and teachers in education, community, government and industry. It builds on your qualifications or experience – preparing you for higher roles. The course provides a perfect mix of hands-on practice and education theory. You’ll gain the confidence and skill set needed to lead school or workplace programs. We teach up-to-date methods in many areas, including: designing and implementing learning programs educational leadership e-learning evaluation and assessment vocational training. There’s also the opportunity to conduct workplace research, aimed at improving training or influencing policy and practice. This diploma is the second of three graduate courses and successful completion gains you admission to the Master of Education. This course does not provide registration to teach in Australia.

Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Our graduate diploma allows graduates of degree programs to become early-childhood teachers. If you're a domestic student (external link) or you won’t be studying at VU on a student visa, you can study this course online. Diploma of Education Studies

This program has been designed for students who didn’t meet the entry requirements for the Bachelor of Education through the VTAC (or direct) selection process. We help you build the literacy and numeracy skills needed for a career in education, over a longer 16-week semester. Successful completion earns you a place in the second year of the Bachelor of Education (P-12), where you’ll learn to teach all age groups – from prep to Year 12. For the degree program, you’ll choose a specialist teaching area in: art, music, digital media or media studies outdoor or physical education (secondary) psychology, student welfare disability studies in education health or food technology English literacy studies environmental science mathematics humanities biology.

Advanced Diploma of Music Industry
