The Master of Blockchain Enabled Business program will provide you with practical and theoretical foundations in the nature and application of, and business and societal impacts of blockchain and related distributed-ledger technologies (DLTs). This program incorporates work-integrated learning and aims to develop specific knowledge and skills related to DLTs as well as more generic capabilities in research, analysis and problem-solving, to meet the current and future expectations of business, government, professional services and social enterprises. The program equips students with the skills to identify and explore complex elements and develop innovative solutions.Over the duration of the program you will experience a variety learning experiences which are designed to assist developing skills as an independent and lifelong learner. Learning and teaching approaches for this program include: lectures and tutorials, problem-based learning, assignments, projects, the use of assessment and feedback tools, as well as the completion of a major research project. The types of assessment used in the program may take the form of formal examinations, assignments, case studies, projects, and in-class tests. In the first year of the program, the aim of the courses is to provide students with the fundamental understanding of blockchain and DLTs as well as their applications and broad legal and ethical implications. This allows students to develop a develop a sound knowledge base to support later, contextualised studies in blockchain and DLTs.In the second year of the program, students will and acquire a thorough understanding across specific areas of implementation and application that will enable them to provide analysis and solutions within a private sector, public sector or social enterprise context. Select units involve a research project component where students must demonstrate their ability to interact with industry, complete an activity in a work context and work in a multidisciplinary team. Blockchain and distributed ledger is a relatively new technology thatis emerging as vitally important for all sectors of the economy and society. The range of potential field of employment available for graduates of this program is varied, but includes banking and finance, public policy and regulation, professional services and consultancy and social and charitable enterprises that will havea requirement for high level knowledge and expertise in the technology and its application. The capstone course ECON1564 Innovation Project in Cryptobusiness will give you the opportunity to critically reflect on this program’s curriculum and will promote the integration and synthesis of a range of knowledge and skills gained in the program and the application of these in discipline related real-world scenarios leading to work readiness or entry to graduate studies. The MC275 Master of Interior Design program provides an industry partnered, project-based learning experience that critically examines the social, cultural, technological and environmental issues and challenges associated with the production of contemporary interior environments including public, commercial, civic, institutional and community spaces with a focus on the Asia / Australasian region.This program has been designed to give you specialised knowledge of interior design so that you are able to undertake professional work and/or pursue a pathway into research and further learning. It provides graduates of Interior design and complimentary design fields with an opportunity position themselves in relation to current interior design practice through collaboration with clients, industry and peers. This program is primarily delivered in face-to-face mode and you will be required to attend classes on campus. Some courses in the program may be offered fully online.You will learn how to be an effective contributor in a team environment through the process of actual designing - developing a collective design response to a range of design briefs developed through industry and client engagement. You will engage with client partners (encompassing commercial, institutional, civic and social organisations) and industry practice partners (interior design and associated design practices) together with the student cohort on actual, contemporary projects and challenges. RMIT University's discipline of nursing and midwifery is one of the oldest providers of nursing education in Australia.As a graduate of the Master of Mental Health Nursing you will be able to demonstrate advanced, evidence-based mental health nursing disciplinary knowledge, skills and their application. You will be well placed to identify and address contemporary and emerging issues that influence current and future mental health nursing practice. In Year 2, you will take any one, or a combination of research based options (NURS2189, NURS2190 and NURS2191) to pursue an independent research project/s which represents a capstone experience where you will integrate and apply knowledge and skills from prior coursework to investigate a contemporary or emerging issue in mental health nursing practice.
