This two-year course includes nine coursework units, a research project, and 1000 hours of practical placement spread over three different settings.

This allows them eligibility for endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Board (AHPRA).The usual part-time nature of this diploma will suit most applicants as, for the most part, they will also be working as practicing psychologists.

This allows them eligibility for endorsement as a clinical psychologist with the PsyBA and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).The usual part-time nature of this diploma will suit most applicants as, for the most part, they will also be working as practicing psychologists. However, depending on the units applicants have already taken, it may be possible to complete within one year.

Contact Future Students for more information.This course provides advanced training in the field of infectious diseases including topics in medical microbiology, tropical infectious diseases and public and environmental health microbiology. It includes an individual research project or a research practicum. Practicums are not offered every year. Students who complete the first year of the course with weighted average mark of at least 70% may apply to complete an extended research project in the second year, subject to availability of projects. Students undertaking the extended research project complete fewer coursework units. The course is aimed at science-based and medical professionals intending to work in research and hospital diagnostic laboratories, medical clinics, government health departments and international agencies.

A range of units are offered to accommodate students from differing backgrounds while also permitting specialisation in the above sub-disciplinary areas within the field of exercise science. Research comprises over 66 per cent of the course.
