Diploma of Sport Management

Whether they’re on campus or abroad, all students will be able to access Bond’s exceptional and personalised learning experience through dynamic and interactive lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops and lab sessions.The Diploma of Sport Management is being discontinued. The last intake for the Diploma of Sport Management is January 2020. Please refer to the Diploma of Business.The Diploma of Sport Management offers a range of subjects to equip students with the necessary knowledge to work with sports teams, clubs, players and sporting organisations.

Master of Sport Management/Master of Project Management

The Master of SportManagement / Master of Project Management has been designed to equip students with the expertise in the planning, implementation and management of sporting projects and programs. The combination degree explores the professional challenges and opportunities for managers in the complex international sporting landscape from a grassroots level to elite professional sports organisations and events. The addition of project management skills enables graduates to access more strategic positions in their organisations and to be responsible for overseeing new initiatives involving the management of scope, time, cost and risk. The program is designed to enhance the career opportunities of established professionals, as well as assist individuals aspiring to develop a career in this unique sector.

Master of Sport Management (Professional)

The Master of SportManagement (Professional) is taught in English and consists of 165 credit points including 20-week professional component, which is equivalent to 92 weeks of full-time study.The Master of SportManagement (Professional) explores the professionalchallenges and opportunities for managers in the internationalsports industry. This program is designed to enhance the career opportunities of established professionals, as well as assist individuals aspiring to forge a career in this unique sector. It explores the many aspects of sports management from a grassroots level through to elite professional sports organisations and events. You will focus on managing high-performance sport, business strategies, strategic sports marketing, event and facilities management, finance, law, governance and organisational leadership. The program will give you access to leading experts in sport, law, business and public relations who possess a wealth of industry experience, including working with elite athletes and consulting to national sporting organisations.

Master of Professional Psychology

The Master of Professional Psychology will provide selected Psychology graduates with a fifth year of professional training in Psychology. The degree will incorporate both coursework and supervised training and practice withthe aim to provide students with a thorough grounding in professional practice to meet the accreditation standardsset by APAC. On completion of this program, students will be able to seek registration as a general Psychologist following a further sixth year of approved supervised practice.

The Graduate Diploma in SportManagement enables students and practitioners from various backgrounds to develop advanced knowledge and skills relevant to navigating managerial challenges and opportunities in the international sport industry. This program is designed to enhance the career opportunities of established professionals, as well as assist individuals currently working in other sectors develop some of the advanced knowledge and skills required to work in this unique sector. Graduates are also eligible to progress into the Master of SportManagement to further develop knowledge and skills relating to management in the diverse sport industry. Subjects completed in the Graduate Diploma program are credited to the Masterprogram.

Graduate Certificate in Sport Management

The program has been designed to achieve an integrated knowledge base using an evidence-based, case study approach. Students gain a strong foundation in required sport management sub-disciplines including finance, high-performance sport, organisational behaviour, and international sport business management. Successful graduates from thiscertificate program are eligible to enrol in the Graduate Diploma in SportManagement. This certificate program is useful for graduates from other cognate areas with ambitions to enter into the field of sport management. It is also appropriate for professionals seeking to upgrade their qualifications, and/or to achieve a career change from another field into the diverse sport industry.

Bachelor of International Relations (3 Year Program)

Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and September semesters of each year only and will complete the degree overthree years rather than the usual two. The Bachelor of International Relations (3 Year Program) aims to prepare students for a career in a globalised economy. Juris Doctor
